There are a number of points of interest in and around Brooms Head. Go up to the lookout and take in the panorama - it's also a wonderful vantage point for whale and dolphin watching

The caravan park is the ideal place to sit-back and relax. With 1.5 kms of absolute beach frontage, there is easy access to the beach, a tidal lagoon and various rock pools.  With many powered and unpowered sites with ocean views to choose from, you can be assured of a relaxing getaway.   Facilities: laundry, cabins, waterfront sites, playground.

All roads lead to Tamworth in January for the annual Tamworth Country Music Festival from Friday 20 January to Sunday 29 January 2012. It’s the largest music festival in the southern hemisphere and one of the top 10 in the world.

The variety of country music is endless during the festival with over 2,200 events and 4,000 different performances or gigs in 80 different venues. There are over 600 buskers in Peel Street alone, providing a diverse range of entertainment each day

There are camping areas made available along the sporting grounds adjacent to the Peel River for a small fee. Camping at this facility will not be permitted in 2012 until the first day of the Festival Countdown on Friday 13 January for the duration of the festival.

All site fees must be paid for at the time of arrival at the designated site offices. All sites must be vacated by 7:00am on Monday 30 January 2011. Bookings are not taken for this camping facility.

Permanent and temporary toilet and shower amenities are located around the Riverside Camping Grounds. A $2.00 fee is payable to the sporting associations for the use of shower facilities each time.  Each of the three sporting clubhouses also operate camp stores with daily supplies basic groceries, toiletries and camping requirements. Breakfast, lunch and dinner with some dine-in facilities area also on offe
